Stony held several executive positions in the electronics industry before starting his first company – Crane Electronics in 1984 and developed numerous leading-edge products used in the Patriot missile, F-15 laser guidance system, and advanced telecom/datacom systems.
In 1992, Stony developed a new electronic interconnect system and licensed it to 3M, Korea’s LG and Litton. He then founded The Panda Project and it’s successor Silicon Bandwidth funded by venture capitalists.
Stony has over 100 patents, has won the prestigious International Design Yearbook Award and the ID Magazine Annual Award, placed two of his designs in museums and has appeared on numerous television shows. in 2006 Stony founded NewGuard Entertainment Corp with Andrew Kastner and also placed his Lion Racing Superbike team at the top of the AMA ranks.
Stony is currently developing content for new and traditional media distribution.
